Just as many of the old Delta bluesmen migrated out of the Mississippi Delta into Memphis, Chicago and other northern cities, Ground Zero Blues Club has migrated north to the Bluff City, bringing with it the sites, sounds and tastes of it’s famed sister establishment in Clarksdale, Mississippi.

Original owners of Ground Zero Blues Club, businessman Bill Luckett, actor Morgan Freeman and Howard Stovall, have teamed with John Elkington of Memphis to bring the Mississippi-based Juke Joint to Tennessee, giving Memphians not just the chance to experience Delta blues music, but also a taste of traditional southern dishes alongside Pig-N-Whistle’s famous slow-cooked Bar-B-Q and ribs.

Located a short distance from the FedEx Forum, Beale Street and other downtown attractions, Ground Zero Blues Club is the prime location to experience a Southern-down-home experience like none other.
